Emerging Church
Contemplative, emergent spiritualities,
Yoga workshops, enneagram which is a "system of
spiritual psychology based on an ancient Sufi typology of nine
personality types or primary roles with the recognition of one's
type tantamount to a spiritual awakening" (from Alternative
Health Dictionary)
How do
these names and the names of some of the nations most respected
pastors and authors of Christian writings go together ? That my
friend is a very good question, one that I feel can not be simply
answered with an article or two.
So what
I have decided to do is give you, my readers multiple tools and
website to be able to look deep into this, what I think and believe
a very dangerous teaching called "The Emerging Church" you will be
as I was very surprised who is a big part of this and the scope of
influence these people carry.
I would
ask you to do something after reading these things and seeing who it
is that is involved it the Emerging Church and that is to pray
for them and ask our Father to open the eyes of their understanding
and that pride would be put down and that our brothers and sisters
who have been caught in the trap of the fowler would repent and help
others to step away from this teaching of error.

Postmodernism and the Emerging Church
Contemplative Spirituality: A
belief system that uses ancient mystical practices to induce
altered states of consciousness (the silence) and is rooted in
mysticism and the occult but often wrapped in Christian
terminology. The premise of contemplative spirituality is
pantheistic (God is all) and panentheistic (God is in all).
